Susanna studied Modern Languages at Oxford, and subsequently spent five years teaching French and German at secondary level. Deciding that it was time for a change of direction, she then obtained an MA in Library and Information Studies from University College London. She has worked at Slaughter and May and Denton Wilde Sapte, and has worked at Baker & McKenzie since July 2004, where she now holds the post of Library & Information Centre Manager.
