Following graduation with a degree in Archaeology and Heritage Conservation, Emma moved to London and joined the London book shop chain Books Etc. She moved into the corporate accounts department and it was here she encountered her first law librarian. After deciding that this is what she wanted to be, she joined Eversheds as a graduate trainee, who sponsored her in obtaining a MSc in Information Science from City University in 2001. She now works at the Law Society Library.
