Terry studied French and English Literature at University College Dublin, and then spent a few years teaching these subjects to secondary level students. He subsequently decided to study for a Diploma in Library and Information Studies, also at UCD. He has been working in law libraries since 1991, and is currently a Librarian at Herbert Smith.
