Kathryn joined Bird & Bird’s Knowledge & Learning (K&L) team in December 2006. Kathryn works with the practice groups in the London office to build up know-how collections on Solutions Lab, and liaises with K&L contacts in the other offices to promote the use of Solutions Lab and other internal knowledge tools. Recently, Kathryn has taken over responsibility for client extranets and knowledge tools, such as e-learning and online legal guides.
Kathryn has an M.Sc. in Information Management from Sheffield University and is also a chartered member of CILIP (Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals). Previously Kathryn worked in the library at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, carrying our legal and business research for lawyers, providing training on legal resources, and working with the central KM team on knowledge projects.
