Become a Member

Joining CLIG now couldn't be easier!

Please fill in the form below with your details. You will need to pick a password for your CLIG account. Please make a safe note of the password you choose as you will need it to pay your membership fees or change your details later on.

Once we have received and approved your application you will be asked to log into the Members Area to complete the online payment of your membership fees.

Currently membership costs £25 per year and runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Anyone who joins or renews in the months of January to March receives the full twelve-month membership starting in April, with the remaining months before April included as a grace period for free.

Please note: If you wish to pay in another way other than online by credit or debit card, please contact our Membership Secretary prior to application.

The City Legal Information Group is primarily responsible for handling your data, which we store online using a content management system hosted by a third-party. Your chosen password will be stored in encrypted form and will not be accessible to us. If you wish to view or correct the data held on you, you can log into your CLIG account in the Members Area, or else contact the CLIG Membership Secretary directly. Where you accept an invitation to a CLIG event, your details may be passed to third-parties for the sole purpose of managing and organising the event.
